Contact Information

Primex stores personal information in the United States. To facilitate operations, we may transfer and access such information from around the world, including from other countries in which Company has users.

YOU CONSENT TO THE TRANSFER OF DATA, INCLUDING THE PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AND SUBMIT VIA THE SERVICE, TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. YOU AGREE TO THE TRANSFER OF YOUR DATA AND PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE UNITED STATES, HOWEVER, TO BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

Data Collection

OneVue collects your name (first and last), email address and, if desired, your phone number in order to access the system and send alerts.

Method of Data Collection

Users directly provide their data or a customer administrator will provide user data in order to set up accounts in OneVue. A user’s name and email address are mandatory and a phone number is optional in the event the user would like to receive phone or text alerts.

Data may be entered directly into a customer’s OneVue account (Admin > Users) or given to a project management team via email or Smartsheet to have entered for the user. Email and Smartsheet entry are optional for users – the option always exists to enter directly into OneVue after logging in with a password.

Data Use

  • OneVue uses data in order to send alerts from monitoring points (e.g. if an asset is out of range, unable to connect to the network, has a low battery).
  • If a user would like a report to be emailed, they may add their user profile to that report and their email will be used to send a link once a report is generated.
  • User information is used to track responses (acknowledgements or alert resolutions or suspending assets) to document compliance in OneVue and on PDF reports.
  • Any comment made in OneVue is associated with the user’s email and timestamped, again for demonstration of compliance to monitoring guidelines
  • OneVue Administrator emails are used on rare occasions when OneVue has issues (e.g. AWS outage, delays)
  • Emails may be used for marketing directly from Primex

Please note that Primex does not sell Personal Data.

Data Storage

OneVue is a multi-tenant solution built on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is designed with multiple layers of protection, including secure data transfer, encryption, network configuration, and application-level controls distributed across a scalable, secure infrastructure. AWS provides a scalable architecture with security capabilities while lowering the application life-cycle costs and total cost of ownership for the OneVue capabilities.

The security architecture of OneVue is multi-layered, operating through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) security infrastructure. AWS is ISO 27001 certified, SOC (1,2, and 3), and is validated as a Level 1 service provider under the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS).

AWS provides a secure infrastructure, including physical security, employee life-cycle management, and regular, third-party audits. The adoption of AWS by Homeland Security, NASA, and the Central Intelligence Agency demonstrates the high level of security AWS provides in its architecture.

Primex leverages the secure architecture of AWS to provide a cost effective solution that encompasses the high-security needs of our customers.

Data Retention Policy:

OneVue retains electronic data records seven years from the data record's creation date. Data records include system user-entered data, reports, events, alerts, and readings. Excluded from this policy are devices/components deleted by a system user and Temperature Probe NIST certificates previously removed from a sensor device. Please note that reports that include data records from a deleted device or component are included in this policy, and therefore retained for seven years from the record’s creation date.

Marketing

Your email may be used to send marketing communications from time to time. We do not share your email information with other marketing agencies. There is always an option to opt-out of future marketing materials on each marketing communication.

You may opt-out of receiving future communications from us any time we request your personal information by email, by clicking on the link at the bottom of emails you receive from us. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner.

Access – you have the right to request your personal data.

Rectification – you have the right to request Primex corrects any inaccurate information or completes any incomplete information.

Erasure – you have the right to request that your personal data be erased, under certain conditions. OneVue cannot fully erase your data. These records cannot be erased.

Restrict processing – you have the right to object to OneVue processing your personal data, under certain conditions.
